Activities For The Piedmont Area DECORATION AT LITTLEJOHN Cemetery in the Roy Webb community is scheduled for Saturday. There is no garbage pickup for the cemetery and everyone is asked to take discarded flowers with them for disposal. All donations for the upkeep of the cemetery will be appreciated. For more information, please call 447-8724. CELEBRATE RECOVERY MEETS every Friday Night at First Baptist Church 105 N. Main St.
This week will feature 12 Step lessons and music by New Wine Praise
Band. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Praise and worship at 6:30 p.m.
followed by teaching and small groups. Dinner is $3.00 per adult. TRINITY MISSIONARY BAPTIST Church will host a singing May 6 beginning at 6
p.m. The Joymasters of Canton, Ga., will be performing. For more information,
please call Bro. John Triplett at 447-9379. NANCES CREEK CONGREGATIONAL Holiness Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday. Rev. James Rainey
will be the morning speaker. The Davis Trio will sing in the afternoon. The
church is located five miles south of Piedmont Highway 9. For more
information, call 447-8354. MOUNTAIN SPRINGS UNITED Methodist Church will be having decoration and a Memorial Day service
on Sunday. Morning worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Roy Thomas
officiating. A covered dish lunch will be served from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
Special singers will perform in the afternoon festivities. A WORK DAY is
scheduled May 13 at Philadelphia Cemetery starting at 8 a.m. Everyone with
family members buried in the cemetery is asked to come help clean the
cemetery. DECORATION DAY AT
Philadelphia Baptist Church will be May 21 starting at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will
be served and everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. Special singers will
be the Crimson Flow Quartet. PHILADELPHIA BAPTIST CHURCH
